Skyrim räumt bei den Interactive Achievement Awards ab

Das Team von Bethesda muss wohl bald einen extra Raum für all die Trophäen und Preise anmieten, die sie für ihr letztes Werk The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim erhalten haben. Nun gesellten sich zu den mannigfaltigen Auszeichnungen fünf weitere, denn bei den Interactive Achievement Awards (IAA) konnte das Rollenspiel mal wieder ordentlich punkten.

Bei der Verleihung war Bethesda mit Skyrim ganz klar der Gewinner des Abends. Neben der wichtigen Kategorie ‘Bestes Spiel des Jahres’ konnte das Open-World-RPG auch in der Kategorie ‘Herausragende Leistung der Spieleentwicklung’ die Konkurrenz hinter sich lassen. Und die war alles andere als schwach. Ebenfalls für das beste Spiel nominiert waren Batman: Arkham City, Portal 2, Uncharted 3, und The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.

Die Verleihung der IAAs ist der Höhepunkt des D.I.C.E.-Gipfels (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain), einer jährlichen Konferenz, die dem künstlerischen Prozess bei der Entstehung von Videospielen gewidmet ist.
